InterChange Group’s new Cold Storage facility will have a record-setting 1.3 megawatts of power generated by solar panels, the largest solar array of any cold storage facility in the state of Virginia. The array will be installed by Secure Futures and will offset 70% of the the facility’s energy usage. InterChange’s partnership with Secure Futures has resulted in nearly 3 megawatts of power generation across five facilities. “We are pleased to continue our investment in sustainable energy and partnership with Secure Futures” said InterChange Group president Devon Anders. “Our 2019 investment has proven that we can produce clean energy for our facilities and reduce our carbon footprint.
